After 8 minutes, Al Mundum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skælskør B&I and the Skellerup players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Skælskør B&I got a freekick which was hit by Al Mundum. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rikard Sheikh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skellerup's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Sheikh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaspar Billehøj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rikard Sheikh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaspar Billehøj having to interfere. Kaspar Billehøj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balthazar Miltoft in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Balthazar Miltoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rikard Sheikh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaspar Billehøj having to interfere. Augustin Stauner struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Søren Flemming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skælskør B&I. 25 minutes into the match, Skellerup's Rikard Sheikh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaspar Billehøj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Søren Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainar Jannerup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Skælskør B&I got a freekick which was hit by Volmar Dyreborg. Absalon Oldenburg charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Absalon Oldenburg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Absalon Oldenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainar Jannerup in the 40th minute of play forced Skellerup's goalkeeper Søren Flemming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Søren Flemming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Stauner, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Rainar Jannerup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skælskør B&I fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rikard Sheikh to make the kick off. Søren Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Stauner in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Skælskør B&I getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mathias Linnart hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, Skellerup's Jimi Kachlowsky shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaspar Billehøj came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skellerup reached it. Balthazar Miltoft scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaspar Billehøj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rikard Sheikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Skellerup getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nikolas Ulvbjerg hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Linus Oxe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kaspar Billehøj quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Skellerup's Søren Flemming got control of the ball when Augustin Stauner tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Volmar Dyreborg during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the match, Skellerup's Linus Oxe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Absalon Oldenburg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Rainar Jannerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Skælskør B&I got a freekick which was hit by Boje Castley. Al Mundum scored 1-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Søren Flemming, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Skælskør B&I supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skælskør B&I would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
