But to his dismay, Siegmund Skalborg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Egil Aggelund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eli Kert's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eli Kert in the 18th minute of play forced Gunderslevlille FV's goalkeeper Egil Aggelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Gunderslevlille FV's goal looked a bit too open when Siegmund Skalborg came free, but Egil Aggelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Gunderslevlille FV's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Kert came free, but Egil Aggelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siegmund Skalborg in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Aggelund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunderslevlille FV's Egil Aggelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Kert in the 40th minute of play. Siegmund Skalborg scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egil Aggelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half FC Viborg were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Siegmund Skalborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eli Kert got free with Egil Aggelund in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siegmund Skalborg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Aggelund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siegmund Skalborg ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gunderslevlille FV booed when FC Viborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eli Kert didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gunderslevlille FV's Egil Aggelund got control of the ball when Eli Kert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunderslevlille FV's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Siegmund Skalborg 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Gunderslevlille FV's Donald Gjelstrup got a free kick in the 81st minute. Siegmund Skalborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Viborg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
