But to his dismay, Marthin Hæsum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Frantz Jurvig hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Valentin Kallerup fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esbjerg Pimps's protests and gave Valentin Kallerup a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Kallerup hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Esbjerg Pimps got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Kallerup. Laus Rehnsby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenny Hjernberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After the first half Esbjerg Pimps were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franz Laderriere to make the kick off. The supporters of LUNDEBORG FC booed when Esbjerg Pimps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Fremm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorfinn Orte's late challenge caught a Esbjerg Pimps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorfinn Orte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, LUNDEBORG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorfinn Orte to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
