In the 11th minute Roberto-Carlos da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Mantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Søren Kvols, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peter Hammerslev made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Darkwing Ducks's Enzo Peres. Enzo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odense Boldklub's Jonny Mantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Peres in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Darkwing Ducks's Enzo Peres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Mantel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Roberto-Carlos da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonny Mantel was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Darkwing Ducks booed when Odense Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Hammerslev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darkwing Ducks's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Mantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Peres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
