Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorg Kunz kicked off to start the match. Charlottenhof's Arnold Abdelwahab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Gunder in the 3rd minute of play. Jorg Kunz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauritz Jan Bentz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Shawn Bogenrieder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wittenstein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leif Gunder might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Abdelwahab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leif Gunder ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Wittenstein got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Hirt. Shawn Bogenrieder took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnold Abdelwahab. Arnold Abdelwahab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arnold Abdelwahab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedemann Meiswinkel in the 25th minute of play. Jorg Kunz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mauritz Jan Bentz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charlottenhof. Mauritz Jan Bentz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, Charlottenhof's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Gunder came free, but Arnold Abdelwahab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Abdelwahab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Bogenrieder in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Wittenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Jorg Kunz came free, but Mauritz Jan Bentz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Fabisch kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charlottenhof's goalkeeper Arnold Abdelwahab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnold Abdelwahab came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wittenstein's Leif Gunder. But to his dismay, Leif Gunder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Shawn Bogenrieder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Abdelwahab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Wittenstein were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leif Gunder made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jorg Kunz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauritz Jan Bentz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Lorenz Darmstadt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauritz Jan Bentz having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Jockel Petters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wittenstein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlottenhof the free kick. Shawn Bogenrieder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Arnold Abdelwahab skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jorg Kunz struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Mauritz Jan Bentz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charlottenhof. In the 71st minute, Julius Velten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Leif Gunder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittenstein's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Gunder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Abdelwahab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Charlottenhof's Arnold Abdelwahab got control of the ball when Shawn Bogenrieder tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Charlottenhof's Robert Willmann got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Leif Gunder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Charlottenhof's zone, Leif Gunder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Abdelwahab came out of the goal and Leif Gunder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
