Mel Schnarr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopold Hecker having to interfere. Ricardo Wirkner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Schuler in the 45th minute of play. When Fredrik Fritschken came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Bayern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Fritschken couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredrik Fritschken was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Ricardo Wirkner managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when FC Bayern's Jonathan Schuler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Edemissen's Reinhold Stoletzky got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Edemissen's zone, Fredrik Fritschken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Wirkner came out of the goal and Fredrik Fritschken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Bayern's Johannes Kelm got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ricardo Wirkner was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Fredrik Fritschken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fredrik Fritschken really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Mel Schnarr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edemissen's Ricardo Wirkner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Fritschken in the 95th minute of play. Jonathan Schuler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ricardo Wirkner made a huge save. FC Bayern were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Edemissen to leave the ground with a draw.
