SRBIJA's Arne Scheller got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erich Töpfer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoph Wiechmann went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krister Badde was the one to do the kick off. Felix Haenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Badde in the 52nd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hamburger's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Scheller came free, but Felix Haenke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Haenke came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.K. SRBIJA's Krister Badde. But to his dismay, Krister Badde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Erich Töpfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Wiechmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
