Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefan Liebing started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lautert FSV booed when Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Lorent didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Lautert FSV's Thorbjörn Mahlberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frans Pethe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lautert FSV reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Lorent during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lautert FSV booed when Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Lorent didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stefan Liebing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Appenzeller scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Volker Liebsch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fortuna's Oskar Appenzeller got a free kick in the 18th minute. Frans Pethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Dramsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Liebing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Liebsch having to interfere. Volker Liebsch made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Oskar Appenzeller sent off a good shot on target. When Frans Dramsch came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Lautert FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Dramsch couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Stefan Liebing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Dramsch to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Toni Schulze. In the 56th match minute, Lautert FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Klump to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Stefan Liebing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lautert FSV's zone, Oskar Appenzeller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volker Liebsch came out of the goal and Oskar Appenzeller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Liebing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautert FSV's Volker Liebsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Appenzeller in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Lautert FSV got a freekick which was hit by Dick Grischtschenko. A collision led to Lautert FSV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dick Grischtschenko hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Paul Rippert sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lautert FSV's Volker Liebsch didn't even have to move. In the 83rd minute Stefan Liebing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Liebsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oskar Appenzeller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Liebing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Liebsch having to interfere. Ferdinand Bernberich kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Fortuna's Stefan Liebing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volker Liebsch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fortuna fully deserved thier win.
