Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uli Herkner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Heimeier in the 9th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Norbert Heimeier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 17th play minutes Norbert Heimeier shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Uli Herkner and just under the crossbar into goal. Norbert Heimeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uli Herkner having to interfere. Roland Busch hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, Rödersbach's Benjamin Blechschmidt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gernot Beutin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rödersbach reached it. Kevin Descharmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Norbert Heimeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uli Herkner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Descharmes in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the game, FC Dunningen's Norbert Heimeier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uli Herkner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Heer made the kick off in the second half. After 56th play minutes Norbert Heimeier shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Uli Herkner and just under the crossbar into goal. If Helmut Kittler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maurizio Siepen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The FC Dunningen fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when FC Dunningen's Kevin Descharmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd match minute, FC Dunningen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Frigger to maneuver through the defense. If Ronaldo Heer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Dunningen had played much better football throughout.
