Crengeldanz FC's Dimitri Kliesch quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Crengeldanz FC's Karol Manske got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Wiedmann in the 8th minute of play forced Crengeldanz FC's goalkeeper Basil Kuchel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Krebss short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Mirco Kitzmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Crengeldanz FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alex Schimmel hit a great ball. FC Veitshöchheim's Graham Wiedmann got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Crengeldanz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Fuchs came free, but Basil Kuchel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basil Kuchel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Duttenhöfer in the 29th minute of play. Victor Duttenhöfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Basil Kuchel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graham Wiedmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Kuchel having to interfere. Basil Kuchel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Paus, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Duttenhöfer was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes FC Veitshöchheim got a freekick which was hit by Graham Wiedmann. Crengeldanz FC's Basil Kuchel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Duttenhöfer in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Duttenhöfer in the 59th minute of play forced Crengeldanz FC's goalkeeper Basil Kuchel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Crengeldanz FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Graham Wiedmann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Crengeldanz FC's Marc Krebs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirco Kitzmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Basil Kuchel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Althaus in the 67th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, FC Veitshöchheim's Victor Duttenhöfer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basil Kuchel. Basil Kuchel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Victor Duttenhöfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Kuchel having to interfere. FC Veitshöchheim played a much better game than Crengeldanz FC and deserved their victory. The Crengeldanz FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
