Spectators: 5701 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 1) Battista Schmelzer made the kick off and thus started the match. Battista Schmelzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mika Hoersch having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dennis Weinert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lysander Gundelach. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Mika Hoersch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Battista Schmelzer went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oferdingen's Battista Schmelzer got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mika Hoersch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battista Schmelzer in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Dennis Weinert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lysander Gundelach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, SPVGG Oelde's goal looked a bit too open when Battista Schmelzer came free, but Mika Hoersch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SPVGG Oelde getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felix Maurer hit a great ball. Oferdingen's Helge Striegel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Maurer's late challenge caught a Oferdingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Maurer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SPVGG Oelde's Felix Maurer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mika Hoersch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Striegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oferdingen's Lysander Gundelach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Oferdingen from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

During the 54th minute of the match Felix Maurer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Felix Maurer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SPVGG Oelde's Felix Maurer got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Battista Schmelzer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SPVGG Oelde's Mika Hoersch. Mika Hoersch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Battista Schmelzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurice Faust's late challenge caught a SPVGG Oelde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurice Faust helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Maurice Faust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lysander Gundelach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levan Bartels in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Levan Bartels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lysander Gundelach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Jona Trumpf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mika Hoersch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Oferdingen's Battista Schmelzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mika Hoersch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Battista Schmelzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPVGG Oelde's Mika Hoersch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battista Schmelzer in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oferdingen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
