Laurence Nelius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6thth minute of the game Laurence Nelius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kranichborn FSV's Norbert Lank was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norbert Lank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 8th minute of the match. Lichtenborn's Heiner Boddenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Heiner Boddenberg sped through Kranichborn FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Lank. If Heiner Boddenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Heiner Boddenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Lank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heiner Boddenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Lank having to make a save. Moritz Bäcker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Lank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Nelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Norbert Lank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Nelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurence Nelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Norbert Lank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiner Boddenberg took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Lank. Norbert Lank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Kai Boris Lapczinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Lank was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Laurence Nelius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Lank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Lank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 37th minute of play. Heiner Boddenberg scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norbert Lank, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Kranichborn FSV's Norbert Lank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kranichborn FSV from getting a goal against them. Laurence Nelius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Norbert Lank made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Nelius in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Lank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute of the match, Laurence Nelius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Norbert Lank was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tobi Wintergerst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reiko Klein having to make a save. 0-6 became the score in the 60th minute when Heiner Boddenberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Laurence Nelius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lichtenborn's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Nelius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Lank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heiner Boddenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Lank having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Kranichborn FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Heiner Boddenberg came free, but Norbert Lank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lichtenborn's Heiner Boddenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moritz Bäcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norbert Lank had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Heiner Boddenberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Norbert Lank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Tobi Wintergerst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kranichborn FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lichtenborn the free kick. When Heiner Boddenberg got free in front of the goal in the 90th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Norbert Lank was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Norbert Lank had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Heiner Boddenberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Laurence Nelius could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Norbert Lank however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Lichtenborn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kranichborn FSV.
