But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorsten Happ couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Heidenpoint's Dietmar Grawe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mika Hoersch. Mika Hoersch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind SPVGG Oelde's goalkeeper Mika Hoersch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mika Hoersch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thorsten Happ in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennaro Dirr in the 40th minute of play forced SPVGG Oelde's goalkeeper Mika Hoersch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
