Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Duttenhöfer started the match with the kick off. Rolf Althaus hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Gunter Dohr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Görschnitz FC and the FC Veitshöchheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Görschnitz FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gunter Dohr hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Felix Schmal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krister Nunold kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Niko Echterhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Duttenhöfer in the 21st minute of play. Mirco Kitzmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Nunold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, FC Veitshöchheim's Graham Wiedmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niko Echterhoff. Niko Echterhoff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 29 played minutes FC Veitshöchheim got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Althaus. Tino Schäffner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mirco Kitzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Krister Nunold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Luc Paus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Veitshöchheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Görschnitz FC the free kick. Luc Paus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Görschnitz FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Kaltenbach. In the 40th minute, one of Görschnitz FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Görschnitz FC. The goalkeeper, Niko Echterhoff, was totally fooled by FC Veitshöchheim's Arne Kowalewski, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Veitshöchheim's zone, Lauritz Bucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirco Kitzmann came out of the goal and Lauritz Bucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Schmal to strike the kick off in the second half. Mirco Kitzmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauritz Bucher in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Duttenhöfer in the 60th minute of play forced Görschnitz FC's goalkeeper Niko Echterhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, FC Veitshöchheim's Graham Wiedmann made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niko Echterhoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Veitshöchheim's Gerrit Betz got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mirco Kitzmann was a little too slow when Felix Schmal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 3-1. After 76 minutes, Tino Schäffner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Görschnitz FC and the FC Veitshöchheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tino Schäffner kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Krister Nunold hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Veitshöchheim getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eugen Ullmann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Wiedmann in the 92nd minute of play forced Görschnitz FC's goalkeeper Niko Echterhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 94th minute of the match Rolf Althaus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rolf Althaus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Görschnitz FC booed when FC Veitshöchheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Althaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Schmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirco Kitzmann having to interfere. FC Veitshöchheim were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Görschnitz FC for a fine match.
