Leon Furst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermann Bierholz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Bierholz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leon Furst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, FC Keine Lake Make's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Flöge came free, but Leon Furst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Schötmar's Tilmann Razavi got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to FC Keine Lake Make getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Juan Falk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Joachim Küpper-Adebisi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schötmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Küpper-Adebisi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Furst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Claudio Flöge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Memet Kliemann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Hommertgen. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Claudio Flöge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Furst was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Juan Falk hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Joachim Küpper-Adebisi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Furst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Bierholz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Leon Furst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imre Hasebrink in the 39th minute of play. Detlev Pautsch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Luis Hommertgen made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Flöge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Falk in the 52nd minute of play forced Schötmar's goalkeeper Luis Hommertgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Imre Hasebrink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schötmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Imre Hasebrink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Zedler charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benny Zedler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Schötmar got a freekick which was hit by Benny Zedler. Detlev Pautsch kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute David Hörster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Hommertgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Memet Kliemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Hommertgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 71 minutes into the game, Winfried Schaub was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Keine Lake Make's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schötmar the free kick. Juan Falk scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Hommertgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon Furst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Küpper-Adebisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Hermann Bierholz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Furst was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Schötmar's Luis Hommertgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Memet Kliemann in the 91st minute of play. If Joachim Küpper-Adebisi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Zellier during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The FC Keine Lake Make support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
