Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Heidenpoint's Dietmar Grawe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Dietmar Grawe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heidenpoint's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dietmar Grawe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niko Echterhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietmar Grawe in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Görschnitz FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Krister Nunold hit a great ball. Tino Schäffner might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Kunstmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tino Schäffner ran back to his position shaking his head. If Krister Nunold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Görschnitz FC's Niko Echterhoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Görschnitz FC from getting a goal against them. Niko Echterhoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dietmar Grawe's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Felix Schmal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Kunstmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Johannes Chille fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heidenpoint's protests and gave Johannes Chille a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Heidenpoint getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Johannes Chille hit a great ball. Edgar Kunstmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauritz Bucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Heidenpoint's Johannes Chille got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Felix Schmal made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Kunstmann was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Tino Schäffner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tino Schäffner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Thorsten Happ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niko Echterhoff. Görschnitz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorsten Happ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 76 minutes into the match, Heidenpoint's goal looked a bit too open when Lauritz Bucher came free, but Edgar Kunstmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorsten Happ struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Niko Echterhoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heidenpoint. In the 85th minute Dietmar Grawe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Echterhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 87th minute of the match Johannes Chille completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Johannes Chille a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Johannes Chille hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dietmar Grawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dietmar Grawe might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niko Echterhoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dietmar Grawe ran back to his position shaking his head. The Heidenpoint supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Görschnitz FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Görschnitz FC.
