Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) fc-augustin's Manfred Lazarus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Murat Janz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timm Abernett. fc-augustin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Manfred Lazarus came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the fc-augustin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Lazarus couldn't finish the play. After having played for 12 minutes, Manfred Lazarus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc-augustin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Lazarus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in fc-augustin's zone, Deniz Amstutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timm Abernett came out of the goal and Deniz Amstutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Wulf Siese recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Timm Abernett. Wulf Siese showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Manfred Lazarus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Groneberg. Löveling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Lazarus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fritz Rudolf Bieling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Groneberg having to interfere. Löveling's Fred Groneberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Lazarus in the 28th minute of play. Deniz Amstutz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fritz Rudolf Bieling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Groneberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Wulf Siese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Deniz Amstutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Löveling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deniz Amstutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wulf Siese in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timm Abernett saved fc-augustin from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Löveling's zone, Fritz Rudolf Bieling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Groneberg came out of the goal and Fritz Rudolf Bieling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Manfred Lazarus managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc-augustin's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Lazarus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Groneberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wulf Siese to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Löveling's Fredrik Banz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Deniz Amstutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wulf Siese in the 61st minute of play forced fc-augustin's goalkeeper Timm Abernett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wulf Siese blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timm Abernett having to make a save. In the 68th match minute, Löveling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Frommelt to maneuver through the defense. Timm Abernett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wulf Siese went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Deniz Amstutz took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timm Abernett. Timm Abernett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Deniz Amstutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timm Abernett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deniz Amstutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, fc-augustin's goal looked a bit too open when Wulf Siese came free, but Timm Abernett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, fc-augustin's goal looked a bit too open when Wulf Siese came free, but Timm Abernett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to fc-augustin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lucian Degner hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deniz Amstutz in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timm Abernett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Löveling's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
