The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Schellerhoff got free with Timm Abernett in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timm Abernett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Schellerhoff in the 15th minute. A collision led to Steinhöring getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hardy Herbst hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hardy Herbst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steinhöring's supporters rose to their feet, but Hardy Herbst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timm Abernett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Schellerhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Timm Abernett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Steinhöring's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Rudolf Bieling came free, but Kristian Buß reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Raphael Schellerhoff elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Meral Pawlowitz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Manfred Lazarus came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the fc-augustin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Lazarus couldn't finish the play. If Raphael Schellerhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Meral Pawlowitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timm Abernett having to make a save. When Raphael Schellerhoff came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Steinhöring fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Schellerhoff couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, fc-augustin's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Vogl came free, but Timm Abernett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ingmar Ballas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfred Lazarus to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Manfred Lazarus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Buß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Schellerhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute.
