Marco Ritter-Just hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Biersdorf booed when Pausa SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Jenssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Ritter-Just's late challenge caught a Pausa SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Ritter-Just helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Biersdorf getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marco Ritter-Just hit a great ball. Conrad Krapols scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Makhno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes Biersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Götz Belger. When Jörn Schoppe fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biersdorf's protests and gave Jörn Schoppe a yellow card for diving instead. Mito Zahov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enno Chille in the 29th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Biersdorf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Sebastian was slow to take the kick. During this time Pausa SV's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Niclas Sebastian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Biersdorf's Nestor Makhno did a great save. Conrad Krapols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Makhno having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrad Krapols to make the kick off. With his leg Nestor Makhno managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Pausa SV's Conrad Krapols fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Roger Jenssen in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Biersdorf's Jörn Schoppe. Conrad Krapols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nestor Makhno made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Pausa SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristiāns Aunelis to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Biersdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Krapols came free, but Nestor Makhno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Kristiāns Aunelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Makhno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Krapols in the 78th minute of the match. Biersdorf's Mátyás Balázs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregor Lembke in the 81 minute of the game. Mito Zahov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enno Chille, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Conrad Krapols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nestor Makhno made a huge save. Biersdorf's Marco Ritter-Just quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gregor Lembke, made in the 94th minute of the game. Jörn Schoppe kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Biersdorf lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
