Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fritz Teucke hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Nestor Makhno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Teucke in the 10th minute of play. Mario Miosga made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Biersdorf's Götz Belger. Enno Chille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lars Moser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enno Chilles short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Lars Moser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Biersdorf's Kostja Sass got a free kick in the 17th minute. Enno Chille fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Moser having to interfere. In the 24th minute Fritz Heiduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Makhno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Fritz Heiduk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bernhardswald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Fritz Heiduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Kostja Sass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biersdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostja Sass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Nolan Waldner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sören Pletz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Karl-Heinz Schrenk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fritz Teucke's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Makhno firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fritz Heiduk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Biersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainald Groba to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enno Chille in the 60th minute of play forced FC Bernhardswald's goalkeeper Lars Moser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Biersdorf fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Biersdorf's Enno Chille looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Enno Chille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Makhno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Heiduk in the 67th minute of play. Lars Moser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enno Chille's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Enno Chille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Moser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Götz Belger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Enno Chille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mátyás Balázs scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Moser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enno Chille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biersdorf walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
