Michail Zuydtwyck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Blättgen in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Blättgen in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michail Zuydtwyck saved Smadi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Blättgen in the 23rd minute of play forced Smadi's goalkeeper Michail Zuydtwyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michail Zuydtwyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Blättgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Falk Dillschneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Beppo Lantermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wuppi's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppo Lantermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 33rd minute, Beppo Lantermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michail Zuydtwyck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppo Lantermann in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of FC Wuppi booed when Smadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Gratza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Edmund Blättgen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Smadi's Levent Schurer got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hinrich Mitscher hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Beppo Lantermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michail Zuydtwyck having to interfere. When Smadi's Christian Vucevic in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wuppi's goalie prevented a goal. Beppo Lantermann did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Michail Zuydtwyck 78 minutes into the match. FC Wuppi's Christoph Göttling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Vucevic in the 85th minute of play. Beppo Lantermann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michail Zuydtwyck came out and tried to block the shot, but Beppo Lantermann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. Beppo Lantermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Michail Zuydtwyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
