Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kai Carlebach took the kick off in the first half of the match. Henning Wolters hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Götz Lips managed to get in a good position for a shot. JenMar RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Götz Lips was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karsten Hußmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, JenMar RS's Kai Carlebach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Hußmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernhard Donnerbauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Karsten Hußmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Goldsche. Karsten Hußmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Carlebach, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Miroslav Branghofer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Goldsche in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, JenMar RS's goalkeeper Miroslav Branghofer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philipp Kucharczyk. Karsten Hußmann came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by JenMar RS's Kai Carlebach. But to his dismay, Kai Carlebach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Harald Terstege was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JenMar RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA the free kick. 32 minutes into the match, SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's Axel Kiefer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 36th minute, Bastiaan Weng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Hußmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Donnerbauer in the 39th minute of play. Mathias Voß kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Goldsche was the one to do the kick off. SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's Philipp Kucharczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, JenMar RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eggert Heike to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Kucharczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Miroslav Branghofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in JenMar RS's zone, Philipp Kucharczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Branghofer came out of the goal and Philipp Kucharczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Kai Carlebach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Hußmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Torsten Goldsche notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of JenMar RS's Miroslav Branghofer. Miroslav Branghofer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernhard Donnerbauer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Karsten Hußmann managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when JenMar RS's Bernhard Donnerbauer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karsten Hußmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Carlebach, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's Karsten Hußmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA from getting a goal against them. Philipp Kucharczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Branghofer having to interfere.
