Reinhard Wolf charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhard Wolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Trever got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Wolf. Ayman Preuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedl Bretschneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedl Bretschneider in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayman Preuss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Pätzel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tobias Jäger sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Immo Buchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Preuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Schnuf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Immo Buchen to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janosch Strickner couldn't finish the play. If Friedrich Ngo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Trever booed when FC Schnuf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janosch Strickner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Tobias Jäger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Pätzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Schnuf's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
