If Karel Brockes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Moorgarten FSV's Kemal Bodendiek got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to FSV Harz Thale getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rutger Balterschütz hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Gunnar Pientak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSV Harz Thale's Thorsten Becker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FSV Harz Thale's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Oberman came free, but Thorsten Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kay Reinhold kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Moorgarten FSV's Robert Bender made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorsten Becker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thorsten Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Pientak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Gunnar Pientak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorsten Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gianluca Blohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragan Kömm in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Pientak in the 42nd minute of play forced FSV Harz Thale's goalkeeper Thorsten Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragan Kömm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Blohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thorsten Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemal Bodendiek in the 55th minute of play. Moorgarten FSV were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FSV Harz Thale's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calvin Veiser took the corner. Robert Bender was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kay Reinhold hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Thorsten Becker was a little too slow when Waldo Oberman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-3. A collision led to FSV Harz Thale getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hossam Hurst hit a great ball. If Gunnar Pientak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, one of Moorgarten FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FSV Harz Thale a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Brozulat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moorgarten FSV's Gianluca Blohm. 2-4. 78 minutes into the match, Moorgarten FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Dragan Kömm came free, but Gianluca Blohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Moorgarten FSV got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Oberman. In the 81st minute Dragan Kömm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Blohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kay Reinhold's late challenge caught a FSV Harz Thale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kay Reinhold helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moorgarten FSV's Kay Reinhold got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sönke Grupe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Harz Thale's supporters rose to their feet, but Sönke Grupe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluca Blohm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Gunnar Pientak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karel Brockes took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluca Blohm. Gianluca Blohm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Moorgarten FSV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
