Schachthalden's Baldur Hiemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berti Harnack in the 19th minute of play. Siegfried Hildebrandt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Kuch having to make a save. A collision led to Schachthalden getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oleg Kläser hit a great ball. Heiner Sommer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldur Hiemann having to interfere. If Heiner Sommer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berti Harnack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldur Hiemann made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Heiner Sommer sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Schachthalden defense, Heiner Sommer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldur Hiemann. The Schachthalden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldur Hiemann should have stopped the shot. Baldur Hiemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berti Harnack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Schachthalden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matti Bieling to maneuver through the defense. Berti Harnack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldur Hiemann having to interfere. Heiner Sommer struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Baldur Hiemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rotten FC. Baldur Hiemann was a little too slow when Heiner Sommer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Steininger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Achim Sprodowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schachthalden and the Rotten FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Schachthalden fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! After 65 played minutes Nils Steininger rounded Rotten FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. When Berti Harnack came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rotten FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berti Harnack couldn't finish the play. In the 69thth minute of the game Heiner Sommer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schachthalden's Baldur Hiemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heiner Sommer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldur Hiemann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Berti Harnack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Baldur Hiemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldur Hiemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiner Sommer in the 75th minute of play. Simon Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Steininger in the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Nils Steininger notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Rotten FC's Simon Kuch. Simon Kuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Berti Harnack fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rotten FC's protests and gave Berti Harnack a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Rotten FC got a freekick which was hit by Berti Harnack. The audience was convinced that Nils Steininger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Kuch was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Simon Kuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siegfried Hildebrandt went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Niko Wellmann struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Baldur Hiemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rotten FC. Raffael Kornacker charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raffael Kornacker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th match minute, Rotten FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raffael Kornacker to maneuver through the defense. Berti Harnack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Baldur Hiemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rotten FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Schachthalden's performance. The match ended with a win for Schachthalden.
