A collision led to Emmrichsrode FSV getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yannick Hammerschmitt hit a great ball. Bayern München's Norbert Hamacher got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrizio Suchanek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Lantzen having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Matti Strobl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayern München's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emmrichsrode FSV the free kick. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bayern München! The audience thought a goal was coming when Heribert Hoffmann got free with Robin Scholl in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthias Niebel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Holger Wulz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Erwin Ewen sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Robin Scholl threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Erwin Ewen this time. Ferdinand Held's late challenge caught a Bayern München's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Held helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute of the match Bayern München got a corner. Emmrichsrode FSV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quirin Hansel ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Emmrichsrode FSV's Ingo Westphal in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayern München's goalie prevented a goal. Ingo Westphal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Holger Wulz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bayern München's Robin Scholl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Westphal in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Hamacher made a kick off. Ingo Westphal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Scholl having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ingo Westphal put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Scholl. After having played for 61 minutes, Ingo Westphal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emmrichsrode FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingo Westphal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heribert Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Scholl having to interfere. A collision led to Bayern München getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Quirin Hansel hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Heribert Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robin Scholl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heribert Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Bayern München's Robin Scholl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heribert Hoffmann in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Emmrichsrode FSV's Heribert Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Scholl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ingo Westphal came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Emmrichsrode FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingo Westphal couldn't finish the play. Heribert Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Scholl came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Emmrichsrode FSV's Ingo Westphal. But to his dismay, Ingo Westphal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 94th minute, Ferdinand Held left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emmrichsrode FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. During the 97th minute of the match Yannick Hammerschmitt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Yannick Hammerschmitt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 98 played minutes Emmrichsrode FSV got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Hammerschmitt. Emmrichsrode FSV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
