Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Björn Schützer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Philipp Grüner scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willi Keidel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Görzhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Zapf came free, but Bernd Grunewald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes, Görzhausen's Ole Brübach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Willi Keidel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Görzhausen reached it. Burkhard Barthel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willi Keidel having to make a save. Heusdorf's Jo Zapf got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Görzhausen's Bernd Grunewald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Hillekes in the 27th minute of play. Habib Hillekes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bernd Grunewald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heusdorf. In the 30th minute of the match Yannik Hammerschmitt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernd Grunewald skillfully saved the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Heusdorf's Habib Hillekes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernd Grunewald was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Görzhausen's goalkeeper Bernd Grunewald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Ferdinand Aue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Görzhausen's Bernd Grunewald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Björn Schützer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradley Kroos got free with Willi Keidel in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jo Zapf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Patrick Oliver Gosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Habib Hillekes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Heusdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Aue to maneuver through the defense. Björn Schützer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Görzhausen booed when Heusdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Aue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willi Keidel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Schützer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Heusdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jo Zapf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Grunewald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jo Zapf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Görzhausen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Heusdorf for a fine match.
