The supporters of Real Madrid CF booed when Einfeld FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhard Rüttiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Ulli Friedrichs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Einfeld FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid CF the free kick. In the 13th minute, Ulli Friedrichs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Lothar Oberbeck made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Einfeld FC's Mirko Malz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Florian Ressemann might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mirko Malz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Ressemann ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Real Madrid CF's Frank Raiser got control of the ball when Kornelius Högl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rupert Bäron struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Frank Raiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Einfeld FC. If Egmont Klich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Marc-Dominic Rolker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egmont Klich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Malz having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Marc-Dominic Rolker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Einfeld FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sebastian Demuth hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Marc-Dominic Rolker made a precise shot to the right of Mirko Malz. Einfeld FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Einfeld FC's Burkhard Schmitt got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Einfeld FC's zone, Florian Ressemann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirko Malz came out of the goal and Florian Ressemann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Einfeld FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Egmont Klich scored to the left of an out of position Mirko Malz, making the score, 0-3. Marc-Dominic Rolker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute Kornelius Högl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Raiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Norman Betzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Raiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Raiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Betzer in the 69th minute of play. Lothar Oberbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. After 92 played minutes Einfeld FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Kunze. Real Madrid CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
