Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Röhner started the match with the kick off. Rolf Röhner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Holzwart having to interfere. Jukka Rausch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Krehl, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Ronny Krehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jukka Rausch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jukka Rausch came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC KÖLLE's Oliver Epp. But to his dismay, Oliver Epp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Norbert Decker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jukka Rausch. Ballkünstler SV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jukka Rausch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Krehl in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ballkünstler SV defense, Toni Wüllbier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jukka Rausch. The Ballkünstler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jukka Rausch should have stopped the shot. Ekkehard Dötsch charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekkehard Dötsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Ballkünstler SV's zone, Oliver Epp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jukka Rausch came out of the goal and Oliver Epp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Epp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jukka Rausch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ronny Krehl came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC KÖLLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Krehl couldn't finish the play. Oliver Epp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Ballkünstler SV's Donald Appel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Krehl was the one to do the kick off. When FC KÖLLE's Ronny Krehl in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballkünstler SV's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Ballkünstler SV's Jukka Rausch got control of the ball when Oliver Epp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leon Swiatek fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballkünstler SV's protests and gave Leon Swiatek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Ballkünstler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Swiatek to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC KÖLLE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Oliver Epp hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, FC KÖLLE's Oliver Epp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jukka Rausch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 60th match minute, FC KÖLLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Wüllbier to maneuver through the defense. If Ronny Krehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Oliver Epp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jukka Rausch. Ballkünstler SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Epp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ronny Krehl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jukka Rausch having to make a save. Ronny Krehl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC KÖLLE booed when Ballkünstler SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Swiatek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukka Rausch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Krehl in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Ballkünstler SV's Jukka Rausch got control of the ball when Oliver Epp tried to sneak it across the goal line.
