Karakartal1983's Hardy Beinlich suffered a sore thigh after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Sell during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Catterfeld getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Glenn Sell hit a great ball. Catterfeld's Hans Metzner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Catterfeld from getting a goal against them. After 13 played minutes Catterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Till Hohlfeld. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Gallois in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Bernheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Onno Heimeier during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Catterfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onno Heimeier to maneuver through the defense. The Catterfeld fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Catterfeld's Onno Heimeier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Glenn Sell might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Bernheim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn Sell ran back to his position shaking his head. Sami Gallois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Gallois got free with Ernst Bernheim in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Onno Heimeier got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Catterfeld getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Onno Heimeier hit a great ball. After 72 minutes, Till Hohlfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catterfeld and the Karakartal1983 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Catterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Till Hohlfeld. Lukas Keilbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Metzner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Sami Gallois in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernst Bernheim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
