Spectators: 6824 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1223, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thies Reck started the match with the kick off. Zeno Wessel hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Thies Reck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bad Schussenried fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute, Eugen Mayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thies Reck in the 14th minute of play forced SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper Leopold Seelenbinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ansgar Elsässer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Wille's late challenge caught a SV Giftnickel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Wille helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Wille kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Edwin Brand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Bad Schussenried was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Watzek to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bad Schussenried's Rochus Hovermann got control of the ball when Eugen Mayer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopold Seelenbinder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raphael Watzek went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Deinbeck in the 33rd minute of play forced SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper Leopold Seelenbinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Thies Reck made a precise shot to the right of Leopold Seelenbinder. SV Giftnickel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rochus Hovermann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredo Volk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 44 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ansgar Elsässer was the one to do the kick off. SV Giftnickel were furious when Fredo Volk was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 51 played minutes SV Giftnickel got a freekick which was hit by Fredo Volk. In the 61st minute, Simon Wille reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopold Seelenbinder. The goal made the score 2-4. When SV Giftnickel's Eugen Mayer in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bad Schussenried's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Leopold Seelenbinder successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopold Seelenbinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thies Reck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ansgar Elsässer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rochus Hovermann having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Eugen Mayer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rochus Hovermann. Bad Schussenried's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Mayer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After 78 minutes, Wilken Flad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bad Schussenried and the SV Giftnickel players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bad Schussenried getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wilken Flad hit a great ball. Leopold Seelenbinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Watzek in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bad Schussenried's zone, Zeno Wessel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rochus Hovermann came out of the goal and Zeno Wessel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SV Giftnickel's Leopold Seelenbinder got control of the ball when Raphael Watzek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopold Seelenbinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thies Reck in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Bad Schussenried's Thies Reck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopold Seelenbinder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugen Mayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bad Schussenried walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
