Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uli Gentner started the match with the kick off. Friesau FC's Mayk Poggenborg got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Achim Ockmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uli Gentner in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Frans Trochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Till Baier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pernze FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Till Baier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leroy Stadler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jupp Abschatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Till Baier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Friesau FC's Arne Krause got a free kick in the 26th minute. Uli Gentner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Ockmann having to interfere. Mayk Poggenborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Uli Gentner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Uli Gentner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Uli Gentner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Friesau FC's Mayk Poggenborg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achim Ockmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Till Baier was the one to do the kick off. Leroy Stadler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jupp Abschatz having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Friesau FC's goalkeeper Jupp Abschatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Till Baier in the 61st minute of play forced Friesau FC's goalkeeper Jupp Abschatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernze FSV's goalkeeper Achim Ockmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Mayk Poggenborg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achim Ockmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uli Gentner in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Friesau FC booed when Pernze FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicco Otabo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achim Ockmann made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mayk Poggenborg sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, Friesau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Trochowski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Stadler in the 89th minute of play forced Friesau FC's goalkeeper Jupp Abschatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pernze FSV's Achim Ockmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Pernze FSV from getting a goal against them. If Uli Gentner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Friesau FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pernze FSV.
