An unexpectedly hard shot by Günter Schepers in the 7th minute of play forced Pernze FSV's goalkeeper Achim Ockmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Pernze FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sammer. In the 21st minute Till Baier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Fuchs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rayk Ruck kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sebastian Fuchs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Till Baier in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernze FSV's goalkeeper Achim Ockmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rayk Ruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rayk Ruck during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rayk Ruck kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Edgar Faber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Achim Ockmann made a huge save. With a little luck, Pernze FSV's Achim Ockmann got control of the ball when Edgar Faber tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Pernze FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Schepers came free, but Achim Ockmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicco Otabo's late challenge caught a L.E. GrünWeiß's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicco Otabo helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Günter Schepers made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Pernze FSV got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Pitterling. 54 minutes into the match, Pernze FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Schepers came free, but Achim Ockmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Gerard Lapczinski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achim Ockmann skillfully saved the ball. After 60th play minutes Leroy Stadler shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Sebastian Fuchs and just under the crossbar into goal. Achim Ockmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Faber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, L.E. GrünWeiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Möller to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes in the game, Till Baier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Fuchs having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Günter Schepers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.E. GrünWeiß's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günter Schepers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Faber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achim Ockmann having to make a save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernze FSV's goalkeeper Achim Ockmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Faber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Ockmann having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, L.E. GrünWeiß's Günter Schepers made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Achim Ockmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Leroy Stadler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pernze FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leroy Stadler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
