Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tim Kümmel made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes Reecke FC got a freekick which was hit by Giacomo Kunz. After a defensive mix-up in Reecke FC's zone, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferit Gellekum came out of the goal and Jaap von Gyldenfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leonid Dreyer fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponlehen FSV's protests and gave Leonid Dreyer a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Ponlehen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Dreyer. A collision led to Reecke FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Giacomo Kunz hit a great ball. Louis Rüschenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Giacomo Kunz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reecke FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ponlehen FSV the free kick. In the 26th minute, Giacomo Kunz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaap von Gyldenfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Gellekum having to interfere. When Louis Rüschenbaum came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Reecke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Rüschenbaum couldn't finish the play. Pete Schmitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerke Hennig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pete Schmitt ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaspard Thoroe's late challenge caught a Ponlehen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspard Thoroe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Reecke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Thoroe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponlehen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaap von Gyldenfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferit Gellekum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Ponlehen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Kümmel came free, but Gerke Hennig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heini Wiegenstein took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerke Hennig. Ponlehen FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Klaus-Dieter Hesse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heini Wiegenstein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerke Hennig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes of play Reecke FC's Gaspard Thoroe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Louis Rüschenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponlehen FSV's Jaap von Gyldenfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Holger Hennrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnim Kircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Gellekum having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Ponlehen FSV's Jaap von Gyldenfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferit Gellekum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Rüschenbaum succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 87th playminute. Gerke Hennig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Kümmel in the 90th minute. The Ponlehen FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Reecke FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
