Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Wörner started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Volker Baum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opladener bv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volker Baum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SV Bechtolsheim's Dion Binkert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Wörner in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Tobias Buschlinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bechtolsheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opladener bv the free kick. Marko Perschl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ekkehard Eisel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Opladener bv's Wilhelm Wörner made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dion Binkert was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Volker Baum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dion Binkert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volker Baum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dion Binkert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Wörner in the 45th minute of the match. Dion Binkert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volker Baum in the 47th minute of play.

Andrej Reb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ekkehard Eisel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekkehard Eisel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Perschl in the 62nd minute of the match. Dion Binkert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Wörner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 73rd minute of the match Tobias Buschlinger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tobias Buschlinger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Tobias Buschlinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Opladener bv's Hans Zander tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dion Binkert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Wörner in the 76th minute of the match. Dion Binkert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Volker Baum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. When Fernando Kammergruber fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opladener bv's protests and gave Fernando Kammergruber a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bechtolsheim's goalkeeper Dion Binkert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Volker Baum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Dion Binkert made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Angelo Schütze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Detlef Wenschlag shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dion Binkert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Opladener bv left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SV Bechtolsheim.
