Gunter Knoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannes Vester in the 3rd minute of play. Claus Meng's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sam Vordenbäumen firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 8 minutes, Eckard Mahler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edoburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eckard Mahler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jannes Vester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gunter Knoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Vordenbäumen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Wuttke's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Dierk Adorno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sam Vordenbäumen skillfully saved the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Claus Meng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AĞRI's Sam Vordenbäumen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eckard Mahler struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sam Vordenbäumen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edoburg. Claus Meng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sam Vordenbäumen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kai Paschen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Raphael Wuttke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Jannes Vester made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Jonas Brocker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunter Knoll. Jonas Brocker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Sam Vordenbäumen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claus Meng's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Ole Brummer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gunter Knoll made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Eckard Mahler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Vordenbäumen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Sam Vordenbäumen came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Edoburg's Claus Meng. But to his dismay, Claus Meng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sam Vordenbäumen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Meng in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claus Meng in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Vordenbäumen saved AĞRI from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Claus Meng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sam Vordenbäumen was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Sam Vordenbäumen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Meng, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Edoburg were the better team. Edoburg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
