Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Alban Schweizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eduard Stein came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ochtersum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Stein couldn't finish the play. Remo Marks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dommert in the 9th minute of play. Eduard Stein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Daniel Quabeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alban Schweizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Marks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Dommert went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Quabeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alban Schweizer in the 29th minute of play. Eduard Stein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Eduard Stein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ochtersum and the Hirzenach FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hirzenach FC booed when Ochtersum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Quabeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alban Schweizer in the 32nd minute of the match. Ochtersum's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hjalmar Mantel in the 33rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hirzenach FC's goalie and right to Dietrich Keck. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hirzenach FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alban Schweizer in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Quabeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alban Schweizer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Quabeck having to make a save. Eduard Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Daniel Quabeck made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Hirzenach FC's Felix Vicktor got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Dommert made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eduard Stein sped through Hirzenach FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Quabeck. In the 59th minute, Mehmet Ali Hasebrink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Stein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Quabeck having to interfere. Daniel Quabeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alban Schweizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Ochtersum's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Dommert came free, but Remo Marks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Alban Schweizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Quabeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rene Böttcher fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ochtersum's protests and gave Rene Böttcher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Ochtersum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Böttcher to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Stein in the 76th minute of play forced Hirzenach FC's goalkeeper Daniel Quabeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
