Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leo Pestel kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Sascha Lichy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Siegmund Herrenkind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siegmund Herrenkind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmuth Forst, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Leo Pestel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aimo Konschal to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 15 minutes, Leo Pestel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Pestel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Leo Pestel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claus Heinrichs charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claus Heinrichs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg booed when Die Löwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Heinrichs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aimo Konschal came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg's Tim Ayim. But to his dismay, Tim Ayim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Waldemar Friedmann hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Sascha Lichy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Herrenkind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Istvan Toll's shot from long distance in the 36th minute was not bad at all, but Die Löwen's Aimo Konschal knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Aimo Konschal was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Tim Ayim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tim Ayim really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sascha Lichy made the kick off in the second half. Aimo Konschal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Pestel in the 61st minute of the match. Gero Weisbrod struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Siegmund Herrenkind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Die Löwen. Istvan Toll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aimo Konschal. Die Löwen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg's Tim Ayim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aimo Konschal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Leo Pestel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aimo Konschal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Sascha Lichy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Herrenkind having to interfere. When Tim Ayim came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Ayim couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Tim Ayim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aimo Konschal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
