A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leopold Trapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Trautmann in the 15th minute of play. If Fabian Schwinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Trapp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timur Trautmann went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 21 played minutes Hergatz FC got a freekick which was hit by Timur Trautmann. After 23 played minutes Hergatz FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Jackisch. Ralf Bethge acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matthias Schellheimer. Gülsün Felgenhauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Bethge having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gülsün Felgenhauer in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Bethge saved Hergatz FC from getting behind. When Fabian Schwinn came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Hergatz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Schwinn couldn't finish the play. Olivier Brock hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Kuno Liski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC Garching München's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schwinn came free, but Leopold Trapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Timur Trautmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopold Trapp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Timur Trautmann put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leopold Trapp. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Timur Trautmann made the kick off in the second half. Leopold Trapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Leopold Trapp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute Timur Trautmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Trapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timur Trautmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Schwinn hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gülsün Felgenhauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Bethge having to interfere. Kuno Liski kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Gülsün Felgenhauer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The FC Garching München fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hergatz FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
