Spectators: 6825 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 100) After 10 played minutes Kleingladbach got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Kobe. In the 14th match minute, Kleingladbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Pittscheidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Dieter Beck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lukasz Nowak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Omar Stachowsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simon Pittscheidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kleingladbach's Lukasz Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Stachowsky in the 35th minute of play. Omar Stachowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Nowak having to interfere. Werder freestyle's Omar Stachowsky got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Werder freestyle's Rouven Krohm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukasz Nowak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Werder freestyle were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rouven Krohm to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kleingladbach getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Nathan Waitz hit a great ball. Werder freestyle's Dieter Beck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lukasz Nowak but with some difficulty. Rouven Krohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Nowak having to interfere. After 63 played minutes, Werder freestyle's Kai-Uwe Metzger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Werder freestyle reached it. In the 63rd match minute, Kleingladbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Pittscheidt to maneuver through the defense. Rouven Krohm struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lukasz Nowak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werder freestyle. After 70 played minutes Kleingladbach got a freekick which was hit by Nils Bermanseder. The crowd rose to their feet as Werder freestyle's Rouven Krohm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lukasz Nowak. That made the score 1-3 after 72 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kleingladbach's zone, Rouven Krohm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Nowak came out of the goal and Rouven Krohm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kolja Schmitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rouven Krohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87th play minutes Omar Stachowsky shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Lukasz Nowak and just under the crossbar into goal. When Thomas Spanier fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Werder freestyle's protests and gave Thomas Spanier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Werder freestyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Spanier to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kleingladbach's Raoul Abälard got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Stachowsky. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Ansmann in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Till Gaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukasz Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Simm in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Werder freestyle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
