Einar Nellessen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Bartholome in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastiaan Meis in the 22nd minute of play forced VolleFrischeBreitseite's goalkeeper Jakov Otto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bastiaan Meis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakov Otto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in VolleFrischeBreitseite's zone, Bastiaan Meis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakov Otto came out of the goal and Bastiaan Meis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Ingmar Köbler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leidenhausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Manfred Bartholome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Einar Nellessen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute Bastiaan Meis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakov Otto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingmar Köbler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ingmar Köbler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingmar Köbler struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jakov Otto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leidenhausen. 55 minutes into the match, Bastiaan Meis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of VolleFrischeBreitseite's Jakov Otto. Jakov Otto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bastiaan Meis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jakov Otto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakov Otto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastiaan Meis in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Leidenhausen's Dimo Stupp got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute Manfred Bartholome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Nellessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredi Redda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Köbler in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakov Otto saved VolleFrischeBreitseite from getting behind. Bastiaan Meis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jakov Otto made a huge save. Bastiaan Meis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jakov Otto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leidenhausen. Ingmar Köbler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Köbler in the 97th minute of play forced VolleFrischeBreitseite's goalkeeper Jakov Otto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The VolleFrischeBreitseite fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leidenhausen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
