The Fußball Torkiller™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louis Mauermann should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Fußball Torkiller™'s goal looked a bit too open when Damien Layher came free, but Louis Mauermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philipp Hütt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Michael Pöttgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Pöttgen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fußball Torkiller™'s Philipp Hütt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Fußball Torkiller™'s Louis Mauermann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Fußball Torkiller™ from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Leopold Elbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philipp Hütt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Michael Pöttgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philipp Hütt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philipp Hütt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Michael Pöttgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fußball Torkiller™. Leopold Elbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Pöttgen having to interfere. Olav Holler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Pöttgen having to make a save. Louis Mauermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Layher in the 42nd minute of play. Florian Hochhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Mauermann having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philipp Hütt was the one to do the kick off. Fußball Torkiller™'s Louis Mauermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Maus in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Hannover 96 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Damien Layher hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Fußball Torkiller™'s goal looked a bit too open when Damien Layher came free, but Louis Mauermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Philipp Hütt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fußball Torkiller™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Hütt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philipp Hütt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match, Philipp Hütt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Pöttgen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the game, Hannover 96's Damien Layher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louis Mauermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of Hannover 96 booed when Fußball Torkiller™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Elbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Jorck Moll's long shot passed Louis Mauermann's right side. It was 3-2, 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Maus in the 93rd minute of play forced Fußball Torkiller™'s goalkeeper Louis Mauermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Damien Layher made a precise shot to the right of Louis Mauermann. Fußball Torkiller™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Many of Fußball Torkiller™'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fußball Torkiller™ may have spent more time on the ball, but Hannover 96 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
