The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FSV Dummerstorf's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ewald Pfeffermann 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Annilker in the 8th minute of play forced Ennigerloh FC's goalkeeper Gert Wanderwitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hanns Brandstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Ewald Pfeffermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSV Dummerstorf's Bolko Kang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ennigerloh FC's Gert Wanderwitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietz Jawurek in the 20th minute of play. Hanns Brandstrup might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bolko Kang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanns Brandstrup ran back to his position shaking his head. Bolko Kang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ewald Pfeffermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Bolko Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ewald Pfeffermann in the 30th minute of the match. Hanns Brandstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bolko Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennigerloh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Dummerstorf the free kick. FSV Dummerstorf's Bolko Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanns Brandstrup in the 59th minute of play.
