Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paco Seubert started the match with the kick off. Paco Seubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bero Münnecke having to interfere. Till van Gorkom came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SG Groß Stieten's Tim Zahn. But to his dismay, Tim Zahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Ingo Knöpfel threw the ball into play from the sideline. SG Groß Stieten's Birk Frohwein quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to München getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Balko Schmitz hit a great ball. When Paco Seubert came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paco Seubert couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Gottfried Walter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till van Gorkom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frerk Brennecke during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes München got a freekick which was hit by Frerk Brennecke. Ingo Knöpfel made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paco Seubert however managed to control. In the 36th minute, Paco Seubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gottfried Walter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Till van Gorkom was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Theo Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, München's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfried Walter came free, but Till van Gorkom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bero Münnecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Reincke in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Zahn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Paco Seubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Till van Gorkom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfried Walter, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Till van Gorkom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Zahn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When München's Pedro Reincke in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jona Heiden in the 68th minute of play forced München's goalkeeper Till van Gorkom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes München got a freekick which was hit by Theo Peter. Till van Gorkom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Zahn in the 74th minute of the match. Rolf Martin charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Martin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Rolf Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bero Münnecke made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Frerk Brennecke sent off a good shot on target. Till van Gorkom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfried Walter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82ndth minute of the game Balko Schmitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SG Groß Stieten's Bero Münnecke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SG Groß Stieten booed when München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Reincke didn't get a good kick on the ball. SG Groß Stieten made a substitution. Finn Latendorf replaced Rolf Martin. München's Till van Gorkom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Zahn in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ingo Knöpfel threw the ball into play from the sideline. SG Groß Stieten's Jona Heiden quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. SG Groß Stieten's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
