The referee showed Camillo Abertonnen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bentfeld's Camillo Abertonnen got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Camillo Abertonnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tim Zahn sped through Bentfeld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claus Deling. Mathias von Cube succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Bentfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Zahn came free, but Claus Deling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, SG Groß Stieten's Gottfried Walter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Deling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bentfeld getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gaston Lanier hit a great ball. Bero Münnecke made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Laurent Hinschberger sent off a good shot on target. Knut Grunwald hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camillo Abertonnen to strike the kick off in the second half. When Camillo Abertonnen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. Gaston Lanier kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gottfried Walter took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Claus Deling to make any attempt to save it. Gottfried Walter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jona Heiden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Deling having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Gottfried Walter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claus Deling, 1-3. Claus Deling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfried Walter in the 76th minute of the match. SG Groß Stieten's Finn Latendorf was substituted for Rolf Martin. After having played for 85 minutes, Tim Zahn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Groß Stieten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Zahn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tim Zahn came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SG Groß Stieten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Zahn couldn't finish the play. Claus Deling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Zahn in the 90th minute of the match. Bentfeld's Claus Deling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Bentfeld from getting a goal against them. If Tim Zahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, SG Groß Stieten's Gianluca Peters tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match was over SG Groß Stieten could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bentfeld throughout the match.
