The crowd rose to their feet as Oberwipper FC's Kosmas Woyke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dittmar Ruck. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederic Silen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tjard Musser was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the game, one of Katterbach FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
