Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Walt Peleikis got the match started through his kick off. Walt Peleikis scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efraim Elzer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raik Lützen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Robert Neidlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kampe's zone, Björn Zöllmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efraim Elzer came out of the goal and Björn Zöllmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kampe's Efraim Elzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thilo Emden in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kampe's Achim Saur got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Efraim Elzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walt Peleikis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Heilbronn's Björn Zöllmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efraim Elzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kampe's Efraim Elzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walt Peleikis in the 27th minute of play. Efraim Elzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Zöllmer in the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Walt Peleikis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efraim Elzer. Kampe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walt Peleikis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heilbronn's goalkeeper Robert Neidlein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raik Lützen in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Neidlein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raik Lützen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Kampe's Lutz von Stahl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After the first half Heilbronn were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raik Lützen to make the kick off. Robert Neidlein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Schoel in the 52nd minute of play. Robert Neidlein came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kampe's Kajetan Hoppensack. But to his dismay, Kajetan Hoppensack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The throw-in from Sascha Reb in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kampe's Kajetan Hoppensack. Felipe Schoel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kampe's Raik Lützen got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Schoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Robert Neidlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Schoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raik Lützen came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kampe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raik Lützen couldn't finish the play. Efraim Elzer was a little too slow when Walt Peleikis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-4. In the 89th minute Raik Lützen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Neidlein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raik Lützen struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Robert Neidlein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kampe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walt Peleikis in the 94th minute of play forced Kampe's goalkeeper Efraim Elzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
