Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eberhard Steinkamp kicked off to start the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esra Hoppensack couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, SpVg Eicha's goal looked a bit too open when Esra Hoppensack came free, but Will Zehle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eberhard Steinkamp during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Ulf Bräcklein fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Helfern's protests and gave Ulf Bräcklein a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Helfern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Bräcklein to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Helfern got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Bräcklein. Andi Trachsel's shot from long distance in the 47th minute was not bad at all, but Helfern's Moritz Weise knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gregor Hupach made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Helfern got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Bräcklein. After 52 minutes of play, SpVg Eicha's Gregor Hupach made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moritz Weise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Bräcklein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eberhard Steinkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluca Bousonville's late challenge caught a SpVg Eicha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gianluca Bousonville helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Helfern getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gianluca Bousonville hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, SpVg Eicha's Boris Furchner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moritz Weise narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, SpVg Eicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Gaede to maneuver through the defense. Will Zehle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhard Steinkamp in the 76th minute of play. If Esra Hoppensack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Zehle made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Esra Hoppensack sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Esra Hoppensack left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helfern fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 94 minutes of play, Helfern's Eberhard Steinkamp made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Will Zehle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Helfern were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SpVg Eicha to leave the ground with a draw.
