But to his dismay, Robert Wörz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dietrich Barow during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 57 Freudenberg SV's Dietrich Barow got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Irvin Wittmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akira Dieckmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 57 Freudenberg SV's Robert Wörz got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, 57 Freudenberg SV's goalkeeper Akira Dieckmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irvin Wittmann. In the 28th minute, Vahid Hesmert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute 57 Freudenberg SV were awarded a corner. Lutz Miskiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 33rd minute Carl Hartmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gostingen's Hermann Haas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Hartmann in the 36th minute of play. Caspar Heim charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caspar Heim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gostingen getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Caspar Heim hit a great ball. If Carl Hartmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Wörz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, 57 Freudenberg SV's goalkeeper Akira Dieckmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irvin Wittmann. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Gostingen's Marko Schwehr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Akira Dieckmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Irvin Wittmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gostingen's zone, Carl Hartmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermann Haas came out of the goal and Carl Hartmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Hartmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Hartmann got free with Hermann Haas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Martin Memmert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermann Haas. Martin Memmert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Akira Dieckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Knoerig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lutz Miskiewicz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Hermann Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Hartmann in the 89th minute of the match. Hermann Haas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Wörz in the 91st minute. A hard shot 91 in the game by Carl Hartmann from a close distance when the talented Hermann Haas managed to make a qualified save. Gostingen's players were relieved. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 57 Freudenberg SV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
