Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Herbert Felber came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the BV Grün-Weiß Holt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Felber couldn't finish the play. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's Richard Uschok got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Nico Deutschmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lev Retelsdorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theobald Weinberg having to interfere. In the 25th minute, one of BV Grün-Weiß Holt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BV Grün-Weiß Holt. The referee gave Galatasaray a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Immanuel Rüeck, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BV Grün-Weiß Holt's Theobald Weinberg. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Link in the 33rd minute of play forced BV Grün-Weiß Holt's goalkeeper Theobald Weinberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Richard Uschok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Deutschmann came out of the goal and Richard Uschok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Deutschmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonny Wienhold in the 37th minute. Arno Link fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theobald Weinberg having to interfere. With a little luck, Galatasaray's Nico Deutschmann got control of the ball when Richard Uschok tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match BV Grün-Weiß Holt got a corner. Galatasaray's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Montgomery Bleck ran over to the corner to take the kick. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's Montgomery Bleck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nico Deutschmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richard Uschok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Uschok took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico Deutschmann. Nico Deutschmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lev Retelsdorf made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Arno Link managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arno Link was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arno Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Theobald Weinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Richard Uschok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Wirtgen's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Wirtgen helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes BV Grün-Weiß Holt got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Wirtgen. Arno Link could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Theobald Weinberg made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Uschok came free, but Nico Deutschmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Arno Link got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Uschok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Deutschmann having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Sonny Wienhold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Wienhold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Uschok struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nico Deutschmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BV Grün-Weiß Holt. The Galatasaray players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
